By continuing to align delivery with the UK Government Social Value Model (PPN 002) we go beyond core delivery and maximise positive impact, promoting sustainability and local economic growth, helping to ensure public procurement delivers measurable social impact.

Creating social value through public sector delivery

We integrate Social Value into every aspect of our public sector engagements, embedded from design to delivery and aligned with the UK Government’s strategic missions and outcomes presented in PPN 002.

Kick Start Economic Growth	Fair work We are committed to creating fair, inclusive and rewarding employment opportunities, including paying at least the Real Living Wage, an accreditation we have held since 2019, and ensuring opportunities for progression. Make Britiain a clean energy superpower	Sustainable procurement practices Our procurement approach supports clean energy and green technology adoption whilst influencing stakeholders to adopt practices that enhance climate resilience and environmental restoration. Take back our streets	Support the reduction in crime We engage in initiatives that contribute to safer communities, including programmes that support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending rates. CGI presents Project Shield to Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to strengthen protections for victims of domestic abuse
Break down barriers to opportunity	Employment and training for those who face barriers We create opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment, such as those from disadvantaged backgrounds, through targeted recruitment and training programmes. As a Disability Confident Employer, we are committed to actively creating an inclusive workplace by recruiting, retaining and supporting people with disabilities. Reducing barriers to entry for under-represented groups We reduce barriers to entry for under-represented groups by offering accessible routes into employment such as paid internships and apprenticeships through targeted outreach to women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, former service people and those from low socio-economic backgrounds.
